I'm just about done with this H2A, I'm building it for Leroy Mitzel's collection. The tins should be here in a few weeks and then it's done. I'm happy with the way it's turning out. I will put some more up when it's done.

Here it was before I started, not a bad bike(till you got deep inside ;) ).

I was able to get the ground in stains out of these pretty good.

I stripped all the rust off these pieces and then re-plated and re chromated them.

I re-plated the little wire hold downs.

Here's a knowledge of Kawasaki question: What's wrong with this picture? (It has since been corrected)

You can still get float valves and floats from Partzilla.

The chokes turned out nice, brass, zinc plate, and chromate nuts.

I saved and re-plated almost all of the hardware including the #6 marked engine mount bolts.

I didn't know this bolt was loose till I saw this picture(it's tight now ;) ).

I can't seem to find the correct size of clear line that doesn't have lettering on it(and I can't find NOS either).
I'm not putting the clamps on yet, it will probably come apart once more before I'm done.

The correct seat bolts look like this.

They are new, K87 Dunlop on the back and a Yokohama Y623 on the front. I would have liked a period Dunlop on the front but could not find one so I figured the Yokohama would work although I think Kawasaki had switched to Dunlop on the front by '73.

I wish it was my garage but it ain't. It's my friend Kyles. I got froze out of my little shithole garage for the winter so Kyle said I could finish Leroy's bike in there. The '73 Z1, 74 Z1A and the CB750 K1 are mine though(he lets me keep them there). :D

Amazing. The attention to detail is fantastic - and thanks for posting such great pictures. Is the right chain tensioner flipped?

Nope, but you are on the right track.
