I am far from being some anti gun liberal but something has to be done. The President stated, (whether it is true or not I don't know) that someone can be on the no fly list and still legally buy a gun in this country, WTF?

Yes the guns were legally obtained.....by someone else (the rifles, anyway). That is really the point; limiting legal gun sales will not stop bad people from getting whatever they want. Laws only limit the law-abiding. The underground gun market is quite large. Gang members get guns, drug dealers get guns, and NONE of them are legally obtained. Limiting law-abiding citizens never stops criminals.

I'm with Ric this is not the place for this kind of discusion , I feel for the people involved and there families , and Australia got ride of guns and every day there is shootings in the Major cities , But it carnt happen we are not allowed to buy them :wtf: . , urs Al in Aus
