My 1991 Toyota Camry has a Yamaha designed and built 2.5 litre V6, dual over head cams, shim/bucket 4 valves per cylinder, and has just turned 140K miles. It was a free to me car, runs like it is brand new, is fast for what it is, and gets great fuel mileage. And, it uses a 29mm Z/KZ/Yamaha valve shim for adjustment, of which, I have what seems like billions of.
It is a 4 door sedan, NICE car, I only wish it was a station wagon, and had a 5 speed, instead of the also excellent automatic.
Yamaha has partnered with Toyota for more than a few different engine designs, and they just seem to live long and prosper, very hard to break one.
That Yamaha car should be one great vehicle, if they build it.
