That seems like anemic power for a modern 125 ...isn't the 2-stroke KTM 125 around 35 horsepower? Now that would be fun!

To be fair, the KTM is more than double the price, but yes, it would be a blast!

The hot motocrossers do run on the high side. Too rich for my blood though.

Oh, the DT started out free, but I bet I have the better part of $1,000 in it by now, with all the bearings and seals, crankshaft, chain and sprocket, tires, extra front wheel, spare cylinder, 18" rear rim, seat cover, front disk brake parts, rare 6v sealed beam headlight... on and on. But with teaching my daughter how to ride, two Deals Gap trips, and two track days on the go-kart/supermoto track, I'm pretty sure my she and I have gotten more than that much back already.

Interesting specs Jim. Im no spec sheet racer, so Im sticking with my gut that the Honda is a turd next to the Z125. I could be wrong, but typically that's how Kawi matches up to Honda. I've only ridden Marks Grom at the gap, and a friend of mine here in town has a grom with a pipe on it. My YSR80 absolutely blows it away. 12.6 REAR WHEEL HP baby! LOL

Everyone has their own benchmark... I'll never own a bike that can't power wheelie in 1st! ;)

Your 90 should be able to. My DT100 did with stock sprockets. I think redline in 1st was about 6 mph.
