Barry, you sure it isn't for '73-'76 500s? One source I saw said it is, but I don't have all the hip information that some of the guys here have.

while all "late" H1 (and H2) speedos and tachos are interchangeable and will work, if this is indeed a TRUE 1973 H1d speedo (or tacho) it will have the letters "H1" located at the bottom of the gauge face.

This is the ONLY year that says "H1" on it

Verified from several sources Jim. Seems a 1-only H1D as Cody confirmed.

well, I'm screwed anyway, looks like it sat for 25 year upside down, the damper fluid is all over the face glass. And no H1. Brand freakin new in the box too! :thumbdown:

+1 for Don. He did both mine - fantastic craftsmanship. He does use/reuse old components as part of his restoration if no good cores are available.
