I thought it was just cgi until I saw it on the news. Just used a paddle tire and custom skis. I used to watch 4 wheelers drive over lakes with paddles. As long as they were going about 70 they stayed on the surface and drove across the water.

Me too, Jim. Now I'm thinking that with a lake here maybe I should build one. I bet the campers would enjoy the show as I fly by their sites on a dirt bike.

Just saw it on the news, absolutely EXCELLENT!!! So, now, some screwball will have to try it with a street bike. (Anyone have a pair of long water ski's I can, uh, "borrow" for a few months? I wonder of they make wide paddle tires in 16, or possibly 19 inch?).

OK, so, we'll use a Yamaha XS750 triple, no big loss if it sinks. We will need bigger ski's, though.

You could use a triple and paint the bike to look like a whale and call it "Blo-Job".  Then sell it to you know who.

I just looked at the spider in another topic. giant paddler tires, ski's, lots of power. Now, that'd be the thing to "drive" on the water!
