And then part of it hit the back window. Thank God it didnt hit my partner. The glass is $205. I dont know what else is screwed up.

Thank heaven nobody was hurt. Machines, they can be fairly easily repaired, as opposed to any, and, especially severely injured humans.

That chain definitely turned into a medieval weapon.

Yep it did. That chain is about 8 feet long and is spinning up pretty good when its driving those rollers.

They are coming to assess it tomorrow for a trade in on this one

Farming can be dangerous work. My son Casey put up 2200 square bales last week on the farm he manages. He said they had no malfunctions.

We cant get the help here to do square bales. Kids dont want to work in a hayfield. That being said, we get along pretty well with the big round bales and the process is nearly all automated. I am in negotiations now with the dealership on the used 567 in the link above. We are hammering out the price now. I asked 5000 for my old baler as is and that woukd leave me financing 4200 at 2.9 %. I can pay it off in a year or less...we will see what we can come up with...

Tim I spent many a summer on a low boy trailer with a bail hook picking up bails of alfalfa. I also used to pick up our hay by the truck and tailor load out of the field for the farm (it was cheaper that way) !
Oh ya, I must say I miss the smell. Whenever I smell it, it takes me back !

Come on up Carl and I will put you on the tractor or driving the bus hauling it out of the field

Tenative deal has been struck for the baler trade. We go look at it Monday and he delivers and sets it up Monday afternoon, then demonstrates it in the field baling and teaching us how to run it. He will take my old baler back with him. He offered me $4500 for my old baler as is, then knocked off $200,so I will be financing $4500 at 2.9 % interest $80 a month till its paid off...
