Anything's possible. I just hope he survived and will recover. The spectators don't really look horrified, so maybe he came out OK.

I don't know that it's the Gap......my point is that and 800+ motorcycle is far less maneuverable in an emergency situation, particularly one with a recliner style seating position.

That's it.......both N.C. and TN have banned big rigs from the Gap, but that doesn't mean the truckers obey the law. I suspect that truck driver will lose his CDL for some period of time.

But...judging by the amount of straight away before the curve and the fact

the sports car guy was waving people down,
and...everyone he waved down seem to take the warning seriously - except the 800+ lb'er....
who passed up multiple people pulled over...including what looked like a fire dept truck !!!

The big phuc 800+ lb motorcycle should have been been able to see the truck well ahead of time and slowed down....way down.....I suspect the biker saw the truck coming towards the curve but didn't think the truck would come across the line.

Yet another beautiful statistic to help out all his fellow bikers. If you're going to drive faster than grandma on Sunday....buy a real motorcycle....

Perfect example of over weight and under braked.....and a skull full of nothing.

The way I see it......I feel better now.
