 Post subject: kh 500 pickups

Needing both pickups for a 76 kh 500. I have no spark and both pickups ohm bad.part numbers 21152-004 as 21152-005. I located good parts. Thanks h1f

They are supposed to ohm at 130 together or 260 separately. I can't get these to ohm anywhere remotely close to that either together or seperate. I'm pretty sure I know how to use my fluke meter cause the stator is supposed to ohm at 116 and mine is 120 so that's good. The meter is showing 2.5m so I think that's 2500.

2.5m is 2.5 million Ω. 2,500 would be 2.5k. 2.5m is essentially open circuit, and means broken windings internally.
