The magic trick to cleaning up yellow headlights is to spray bug repellant with "deit" on a rag then wipe the headlight. Unbelievable results! The plastic lens gets a little tacky but hardens back up.

Ian is right about the UV protection.

My story with this subject - I've tried several Home Made solutions and spent a lot of money trying expensive stuff and major brand names.

In summary: Limited success. I could have bought a pair of new lights by now, plus saved a lot of time. Example: My truck lenses are starting to get dull.
I can get a BRAND NEW OEM set of COMPLETE plug-n-play lights for $125. I will no longer mess around with temporary fixes.

Here's a good write up (and pitch for their product) below link on eBay. But everything they talk about is true.
The kit below is $50-$80 bucks so I have not tried them.

True - that stuff is powerful. I completely melted a nice pair of Wayfarers trying to keep the blackflies off my face..

$1000???

That's about what I spend in materials for a job like that! That was when GM went through their lousy primer adhesion times. I recently did a complete paint job on a 94 to correct that issue. I used single stage as it was for a work truck. Yours looks too shiny to be ST. Is it BC/CC? It really looks great!!

Tried to post the before. It was too big. This is where someone backed into the right side. It crushed it pretty bad. The inner panel was not damaged, but it was close.
