My h2 is nearly finished (other than some cosmetic issues) but I guess I should post it here.

It started out as a nice mildly modified h2b.

Not one to leave well enough alone, I decided to tear it down and build a "special". It was decided to swap a '86 fz600 front end and rear end to the stock h2b frame. A set of WTF "crossover" pipes were ordered and delivered. Installation went smoothly with the help of a number of skilled friends. The whole process went fairly easily, but soon after, I lost interest and momentum slowed to a halt.

The plan was to retain the stock profile of the tank/seat/tail, just cut down to shorten the overall length. I screwed that plan up by prematurely chopping up the seat pan. Crap.

Fast forward 12 months or so, to the Spring of 2012 and I went to plan B... a solo seat. :)

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... and here we are looking like this today.

It runs pretty good too! ;)

Waiting now to get the new suspension sorted out. I have RaceTech internals for the front end and a Penske shock on order for the rear. That should do it for the time being.

The only thing left will be the cosmetics. ;)

And there ya go. ;)

It's not for everyone, but I like it! It didn't exactly look the way I first thought it would, but I like how it turned out just the same. The ride and handling is better than I might have guessed too. Can't wait to see how the upgrades improve it!

Thanks! It's my favourite by FAR! It's a simple black Arai RX-7 with a mirror shield. It fits like a "finger up yer nose" and is just perfect for me in every way!
