WOW! great old pics from a long time ago!

Quote:
Roger (Quite Bizzarrely) managed to lose the road and end up alongside a crash barrier, Bill (Agent H2) came round the corner and ploughed into the KH500, closely followed by John on his H2, Bill trashed his pipes but John survived unscathed, Roger who escaped the initial crash unscathed was then launched into the barrier and cut his leg needing a hospital visit

This is exactly how I remember it happening. Bill G. and myself were hauling the mail up the cherahola(sp) skyway, chasing after some guys that were also hauling said mail. Bill was in front of me when he came around a bend at full lean and suddenly he panic-braked, stood the bike up slightly, veered wide, and piled into Rogers pile. I had an unfair advantage because I saw Bill hit the brakes first, so I was able to start slowing down from slightly farther away. I had the double-front discs just about locked up, but I managed to be almost completely stopped when I bumped into the pile. We were all very lucky that day! I know how fast I was going!

Steve. I will not be buying you moonshine this year!
What do you like that is not so strong?

There in lies the problem Mike old son.
I DONT drink.
Well I have a dozen or so beers over the weekend when we do Paris or Tweed meetings, but thats about it.
So where I may have, at one point in my life, been a connisuer of fine Bourbons, it has been years since I drank much of anything at all.

Damn that shine does sneak up on ya dont it??? :D

Sneak up? I caught a buzz from one mouthful! Mind you, that was the high octane stuff from a couple years ago. I believe the stuff last year was store bought... If anything like up here, maximum 40% but to a beer drinker, that's strong too!

how's unkle Gary doing??? Haven't heard much lately in terms of his health battles.

He's always a riot to hang with during the weekend. Hope he makes it this year.

Well Cody, the odd times I visit the "faceplace" I see comments from him about finishing up his chemo and he seems very upbeat, considering, and positive about things.
He had posted some funny photos of himself, as usual.
That attitude alone tells me, he is doing a lot better.
Kinda gettin back to his comic self eh??? :eh: :D

It would be mint to have he and Deb go to RBs again this year.
Hes like the only person I ever met that I can't stump on music trivia.
But he can seem to get me baffled some times....

Da bugger. :P

I haven't talked to Uncle Gary since last year but like Steve, I've been following him on FB...
The positive I've read recently is his doctors are much more optimistic than they were just 6 months ago which is awesome news! I believe he is finished with all the chemo as well.
Probably the best gauge is he's back to posting jokes daily.
Gary is a riot to hang out with and I'm hoping he and Deb will be there this year!!

I vote both! but if only 1, bring the H2. The roads around Rick's area are absolutely amazing! Lots of curves with low traffic if you stay inland. Plus all the scenic views with the lakeshore ride.
we only start racing the monkey bikes after we are too tired to ride on the road!

Do you have a raggedy-ass H2? I've seen your bikes on this forum...and you would be overdressed compared to all but Cody! ...and maybe John, this year.
