I wonder how they got the chopper there, since there are no tracks.

Actually, the old Popular Science article gushed all over it, saying it had lots of power, handled great, stopped great, was an excellent touring bike, and pretty much did everything well.

No airfilter good for beaches, kickstand works good too! I like choppers though, I'd go with a Big Bear front-end, the straights like this (and people still use them) have the turning radius of a football field.

One day I'm going to put a collection of quotes together about the early Triples, from tests at the time. Anyone who has a collection of tests, like Triples 'Performance Portfolio' with R.B. and purple late H2 on the Cover, would get a good laugh - "handles like a G.P. bike" , "Amazing 1G braking", "Stock tires are virtually Racing tires", among other things like 4-main bearing crank (H2!), wrong bore/stroke ratios, etc, etc, - and those English testers who be-moan the fact that the H2 didn't have a fully-enclosed chain....! A whole lot of mis-information around at the time, (and now, of course!)
