what?

I've never seen a 3 into 1 on an H2 with the ability to rev past 7k.

All that I have ridden have hit the "rev limiter" at 6500-ish.

What did the H2's with 3:1 chambers you have tried, produced with effective chambers?

Here is the Figaroli pipe, and pipe volume is HUGE. Like double a Denco

Jorgen, if you have time, send me the dimensions and I'll plug it into the software.
Interesting how the pipe goes in and out of phase, 3 times... Or maybe I shouldn't be surprized?

Have you ever done a run with no pipes or just the straight pipes? (Headers only)

I think I will, but I have to ask skilled people in here prior to do that, as I am concerned about the consequenses running for free exhaust. But I think it will be ok, and I know the strongest 2 stroke engine produced ever, a GP machine, made 1/3 of the power on free exhaust vs their best pipes.

And I can do some mesurements for you when I have the time, also some cylinder spec.

I was fully aware of the 3:1 capability of overrev a lot, as I have tried same pipes on my stock cylinders. But there seems to be something with the portwork that improves cylinder filling, at higher rpm's.

Gotta remember, these 3:1 loose more than 30 hp vs my 123 rwhp jollymoto's.

Ok, so the 3 in 1 makes 90rwhp, sounds AMAZING and it wont rev much past 9k so you wont overrev and break something.. To me, that sounds more or less perfect. But Torque was bad? Or still good, but not as great as with other chambers?

I've been told that running a 2 stroke with open ports can cause broken rings... :o

I cannot remember what the butt dyno difference was between regular dencos and the 3 into 1 in terms of overall power as the 3 into 1 seems to pull so much harder right off of the bottom.

The biggest thing that comes to my mind is the "WALL" that the 3 into 1 hits when it gets to the mid 6xxx's RPMS.

All of that said, I think that you are onto something in terms of Pipe Volume. The Strader diameter is tiny compared to the Figaroli in your photo.

All of the 2 into 1 and 3 into 1 chambers that are produced for snowmobiles are 2x's larger still than the Figaroli, and while they obviously aren't making as much HP as individual chambers still pull your arms out of their sockets when you grab a handful of throttle.

Like Sverre said, if someone could do a bit more R&D into a modern design 3 into 1 that would give unlimited cornering clearance with only a mild drop in overall HP for an H1 and H2, I would be first in line.

Jorgen, do you have a bone-stock port H2 to mount that Figaroli on to compare to stock or individual chambers???

Good Stuff Here.. Love that you are really digging deep. Been a while since threads like this have been posted.
