Doesn't look too bad, if the blade speed will go low enough for metal. I have a recent model Kawasaki rechargeable circular saw. I never though much about it, but I guess I should have posted a photo in the "latest purchase" thread. ;)

Probably not too big.
It says 9" on the side.

your 9" might be bigger than mine.
ew err that's risky.
i don't know how the measurement would apply.
maybe its the max depth of cut which would be a lot .
mark

The specifications are on page 27 of the manual, which you can read here: http://www.alltradetools.com/pdfs/new/a ... 54_eng.pdf

It's small and has one blade speed, suitable for wood and maybe aluminum.

yeah, Im not gonna go there Mark.....
I know what I used to tell the wife was 8" was a bit of fabrication....

I dont really think that little saw is worth 200 bucks to be honest with you.
Maybe 100 as it is very limited as Jim points out.

Just thought it was cool and green is all.
I do have a green case of Kawasaki drill bits.
Thanks to Darrin. :)

All the little inexpensive bandsaws with the exception of Harbor Freight are designed for wood from what I have seen.
Not only blade speed but overall construction durability.

I bought a HF vertical / horizontal saw years ago for about $175 that has been really good.
They are $250 now and worth considering.

Here's the 14" abrasive cutoff saw I have

I think I paid about $130 shipped for it.
