I just spent 2 hours wire brushing and gunking these cases.......should have seen them before ........obviously they are going to need something a bit more industrial strength..........what is the best method to get these prepped .........have them hot tanked ? or can that warp them.........or have them bead blasted and what about the steel bearing bosses ?......then run a die over the studs (may have to replace one)

They also have one pushed in pin on the needle bearing of the trans input shaft.......how do you get those out ?

Bead or vapor blast cases... Avoid bearing surfaces.

III I looked at some of the vapor blasting.......some guy in PA arnolddesigns.com "Vapor"......has some neat looking H2 stuff on his site, I think he requires it bead blasted first though.......Tim stuff looked good enough I would think .......hope you are doing well and it was good to meet you at Mid-Ohio
