Are there any Guzzi dealers nearby Jim?

I don't know, I'm not a dealer kind of guy. (See John's comment about my price range below.)

I think 2,500.00 his his top dollar for Guzzi's.........

For vehicles in general, and they have to be pretty special for me to go that high. :P

Rod, I may be mistaken, but I think you're seeing plastic trim more than a tank.

I'm sure he's referring to the white bike with a big notch in the tank for the cylinder to poke through...

So was I!

Jim and Zambia, you are both right - Just my sense of humour at play, sometimes difficult to project across the planet! :D (Come to think of it, my wife often doesn't appreciate it, and she's right here!) :? Jim, good to see you have joined the society of "back brake believers, keep on chirping that rear tyre, good stuff. Somewhere, I have a pic. Of my first H1 next to a friends early Guzzi V7. We used to swap 'em around a bit, but that's a story for when I've had a few drinks!!!

Rod, on my H2 in a panic stop, the rear wheel comes off the ground, or has so little weight on it that any use of the rear brake would make it skid. The Guzzi is less forward-biased.

Your personal style and use of the rear brake on a track is another matter. :D

I'm with Jim on this Rod the back brake is good normal riding and to set up for corners , but in a panic stop they tend to do stopies (rear wheel in the air ), Not that a man of my maturity would do things like that   , hows the T shirt Rod ,. urs Al
