Kawboy, Nice bike and very complete. That is a lot more than some of us start with. Plus you had that cool sissy bar on yours.

Glad you got two cylinders off already. Now go for three and it is all downhill (so I have heard). I look forward to your build.

I think any white-tank H1 would be considered "early".........(but, yeah, it's early!)

H1 1969 KAE-00001~ * KAF-00001~ Midnight White

H1 1970 KAE-06315~ * KAF-06727~ Candy Red, Peacock Gray

http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/serialno.html

Using these ranges as a guideline, KAE-04641 would be approximately 2/3rds into the 69 production run, granted your frame is similarly numbered (considered "matching" if "close" to your engine part number). This recent cancelled auction was for another 69 with part number's KAE 03675, KAF-04018 http://www.ebay.com/itm/191112556261.

For comparison (not mine):

That REALLY isn't correct :eh: - You won't find a sub 10,000 Red H1 ;)

Agreed Rick - just wanted to suggest to kawboy where his 69 fell in the "white" range.

The pic was regarding seat rail & grab bar NOT seat cover.
What was the beginning frame/engine of red H1?
Were red & grey mixed at beginning of red production?
