I was there 4 years ago, it's time on the calendar is normally when I am back in England (same again this year) - I did meet a guy with a '75 Z1 that was gobsmacked when I told him more about his bike than he actually remembered . . . and he had owned it from New! :D

Its mostly HD event, but there usually is a jap and british contingent informal meeting at housemans on m37. My new wife wants to stay in big rapids. So I will figure out how to set up a 2 stroke meeting site. only saw one T500 last year. I wish my cobra was up... maybe I will ride it ugly over there. I will be on a custom 76 Goldwing most likely. next year I ride my 69 Rocket 3 even if I have to tow it.
One of the founding members of Michigan VJMC wanted me to try to start a chapter in this area. Well I always wanted to bail and take my bike shop to an area with a real economy. Xiao, my wife has spent her entire life in Beijing, surrounded tightly by people, and loves this small town, so it looks like we are digging in. I may try to get some VJMC activity going. May 18 is the actual blessing, but the party runs from Friday till Sunday night. I am going to roast some birds in my backyard Friday May 16, 11 Am- whenever. Saturday all day I spend bike watching. Never actually seen the blessing, I am not catholic. I will either be at housemans or downtown. I have some friends that are Z1 total fans, enough that I allowed them my entire Z1 inventory, including my 75 I had never planned on letting go of, they will be there, on that 75 now restored and a 74, maybe 2 of them.

it seemed to have gone a bit high to my liking. But I want $500 for my mini cycle too.

Yep, FAR too high for a junker, I was one of the high bidders but it comes a time when enough is enough . . . . . especially when you have to add the shipping
