Wow! What a wishy-washy character...and what an ordeal for you two, Ian! :crazy: Again, a case of greed on his part...and then he talks about a clear conscience and sleeping at night, yet still goes back on his word anyway?! Sellers, do your "research" BEFOREHAND, and then decide if you want to keep it or sell it! :banghead And really, you know if he didn't get his bottom line, $XXXX + whatever, that the bike would just sit untouched and unsold, and then it'd be back up on Kijiji a month later. :roll:

This same thing happened to me not too long ago.

I was a half an hour away from the guys house after driving four hours. I called him to tell him I'd be there in less then 30 minutes and he said that "he had changed his mind and he could not part with it"........my knee jerk reply was ....."well that is a shame but I already have your address, I will be there shortly and I can GUARANTEE you that I will be leaving with the bike I came for or I will get some other form of satisfaction after my long drive, you now have about 15 minutes to decide, See you soon." I then hung up the phone. When I arrived in his driveway he was there to greet me to say that he decided he would go ahead and complete the sale of the bike.

It really sucks that in this day and age of dealing with emails, texts and sometimes phone calls some people feel that they are not giving their word to a person on the other end.....just some form of digital communication without a face. There is no doubt peoples demeanor changes when dealing with someone in person.
