Looking in earnest for a seat--or just a pan--for a 1975 S3.

Am fairly confused as to what will work--250, 350, 400, 500 for my model.

I have a decent pad. Would like to buy a decent working seat but will try to make a pan and cover work if I have to.

I'll buy the guy who finds me my seat LUNCH (Paypal).

As far as I know, the 74-75 S1 & S3, 76-77 KH250 & KH400 share the same pan and will work for you. This is the only one currently on eBay that I believe will work, but beware, from the looks of the underside of this pan, the top is usually far worse! Unless you're able to see the top, it's a risk of what you'll actually be getting, based on the rust shown on the bottom side. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1975-KAWASAKI-S1-250-SEAT-FAIR-TO-GOOD-CONDITION-CONSIDERING-AGE-/370875522285

I already posted one option which is a complete new seat from the UK but with fiberglass repro pan.

I googled the part numbers for the seats that will fit the S3 and came up with one possible source.

Kawasaki PN 5300-117 Dual Seat Assembly for KH400. A place called Partape.com appears to have one assembly. I don't know this place and can not speak for them at all. You might want to contact them to see if they really have the item. It will be a long shot but worth the call.

I have a nice KH400 seat. Has one small split in the original cover. Also has the original decals and I believe the rubber bumpers are attatched too. I will only ship in the U.S. so where are you at?
Pan has slight surface rust but is solid and cushion is great.
It is boxed up and has been in storage for the last 4 years so I can get it out and email pix to you if you are interested. Send me a PM. ;)

Sounds like with this KH seat, at the worst you might pickup a new cover from RB, Diablocycle, Jessbikes if need be. If so, you'd then have the excuse to prep and repaint the pan like new, then reinstall the foam and cover for a like new seat!
