They had jets out here and I went. it was freakin cool to see the trust and power and feel the ground shake. The noise was deafening........

But all that fire and noise at the start had nothing to do with turbine engines running. Can you imagine what the passengers would do if a commercial jet did that before it took off? :lol:

It would scare the crap out of them, and it does! I flew on a Russian airliner in 74, yes there was smoke and flames........ :o

The sparklers that went off on the jersey wall were a little anti-climatic....at least the fireballs at the very end were better..
