It's nice, but I'd rather have a KR3 or BSL- at least they have three cylinders!

Yes, so I hope you have a HUGE and well-filled piggy bank!
Alternatively, you could buy a replica of Paton's last GP500 V-4 two-stroke, last raced in 2001. After that season Dorna's Ezpeleta told Paton they were no longer welcome.

It would probably be more accurate to say "Dorna and H@part number*a killed GP racing". Dorna wanted to make motorcycle GP racing like F1 i.e. two-man teams, H@part number*a wanted to kill off two-strokes no matter what. Remember all the companies that were "100% sure to enter GP racing" once it became four-stroke? Triumph, BMW, the Drysdale V-8, Blata, WCM, Petronas triple- where are they? Aprilia, Team Roberts, Kawasaki and Suzuki quit. Costs, as King Kenny Roberts predicted, have spiralled out of control. I'm surprised Ducati can still afford taking part- but how much longer?

good old time on the 70s GP when you could meet the racers on the paddock (nobody disturbed them) and saw mechanic men working on the bikes.
And 40 racers on each race (and more on the qualifications) :e11
When I came back from the Czechoslovakia GP 75 on my H2A you must wait one or two hours on the border to go in Austria (nothing special, just to show you you're on an other world: iron curtain  ).
There was a guy waiting wih us on a Triumph Trident: was Gianfranco Bonera (MV racer) who came back home to Italy.
Last time I went back from a GP was years ago on the last 2 stroke years at the beginning of the 21 th century, I didn't met Rossi on a road bike at the tool way
