Hard to go wrong with a 5.0. They drop right in, go like stink and are pretty darn cheap. Add a T5 and a Tru Track w/3.73s and you have a real sleeper on your hands.

true. btw found out mines a 63...

anyways, we already have a v8 maverick and ive never built a 6 cyl car. swapping to a v8 would require different steering linkage, and of course bigger brakes and a rear end that can take it. the stock 7.5 would just blow apart.

so, the current 170 is toast, pulled the head and the cyl ridge is beyond boring i think. the 200 will def go in soon. and i am working on the rust removal int he trunk, need to do some minor rebuildign back there, front floor boards, install the brake stuff etc.

i should have it drivable by mid january worst case scenario.
