Ive made a little progress. Installed a new clutch, repaired the radiator myself, done the valve clearances which isnt that straight forward, as you have to remove the cams to do it. Ive wired for the new tacho which is here. Front fairing nearly here from airtechstreamlining. Repaired the smashed master cylinder. Removed all the gravel, it was bloody everywhere, there was even gravel inside the airbox. Ive synchronised the carbs properly. (bought a proper gauge) Drunk plenty of beer. Got the rear race section the other day and now playing with graphics. It looks awefully large in the photo, must be camera angle. Im playing with graphics scale and fit for this machine. Thats a paper template ive stuck on the side, see how it might look. I will have to do it all by hand but its all good. heres a pic. Oh ive also installed the R1 calipers, just waiting for the hydraulic lines. Il need to get the spray gun soon, getting cold here, not condusive of quality paint jobs. But i will manage. Got a new tank too. The one on the bike now is repairable but the gas cap area it bashed down 10mm or so that makes very difficult.

Made some more progress for those who are interested. Ready for paint now. Been out on it a few times now and its running awesome. I live on the edge of town. At the end of my dead end street theres a walkway viaduct, go through there and im in the country. I have escape plans for when im chased by the cops. Blast straight back to the viaduct, nip through there and im home free :e11

Thanks. Of coarse it needs a new can and a decent shock on the back and the forks overhauled with new springs. Or spacers :geek:
I will get around to all this. Then I will be ready to throw it away again on the track :eh:

Finnished and ready to race at Burt Munro challenge next week. Was a hell of a thing to paint, but I think it was worth it

Thanks Steve. And thanks for the offer of helping out with the shipment logistics of the front fairing. (III is what we say here in NZ, is a bloody good bloke)
And thanks Moo. Yep I will try be a bit more carefull this time. It is a bit of a handful its lost some weight with 140HP plenty for me. I don't know how they manage 200+Hpowers. Crazy. Sorry, no go pro moo! HeHe
I suppose this paint job has come from the fact that when I was thirteen (over 30 years ago!!) The TZ750 was my dream bike. Sortov still is.
