The coverage on FOX1 is even worse than on Speed. They show the race and thats it.....plus the stupid crawler across the screen telling me who dropped their lug nuts in the nascar pit. It truly sucks. BeIN Sports WSbk rocks.....pre race/race/podium and interviews for both races plus supersport and superbike. This coming saturday Velocity will begin airing Eurosport coverage of BSB and a few other things. We can only hope Discovery's "buy in" on Eurosport will bring us the full season of BSB and the IOM next year......as well as their MotoGP and WSbk coverage. The series are much more than races and the rest of the world gets real coverage..

The there is the AMA coverage......they aren't even going to televise Laguna beacause of "fiancial" issues. Likely MotoGP will bring Moto2/3 next year to the US and WSbk their own supersport and superbike so the AMA will lose those venues as well as the other 4 or 5 they lost this year. The state of motorcycle racing and its coverage is in a sorry state here in the US and its not because if done properly it would not be successful and profitable. Its because of Nascar, stupidity and programming/series politics (which tuner is probably more aware of than me).

And Stoner was a phenomenal rider but to say he was not a whiny one is wearing the blinders a bit

One re4ally did have to be there to hear Stoner and his ongoing flames and other stuff, it wasn't pretty. Good rider, YUP, big time, other ways of communication, not good at all. Hayden, just a country boy from Kaintuk!.

Don't blame Fox for the debacle of coverage, and for the non-Laguna coverage, look directly to DORNA being so greedy is t isn't funny. DORNA is the company that produces the programs, and, charges to broadcast them.

When you are the best of the best, especially in the premier motorcycle sport, you can whine all you want. I could care less......

There are others that have been "the best of the best", more times than Stoner, and...even through an onslaught of Ducati adversity, they don't whine and moan.

Whining and moaning is a part of human nature of the person doing it, and NOT a reflection of other talents, like riding a motorcycle fast.

It is common knowledge, and current history that Stoner whines and moans about the cars he now drives, and he isn't that fast in them, and it is said he is quitting that series as well.

If that is what he wants to do, fine and good. Nobody really needs to hear it isn't Stoner creating all the problems, but EVERYONE else around him.

The kid is one of the greatest riders there has ever been, it stops there.

Today, Marq Marquez is doing the same thing Stoner did on the race track, riding his tail off, but, the difference is, Marq hasn't whined, nor moaned, even through injury, one little bit.

So the next time Lorenzo, or Rossi, or Marquez says "I could feel the tyres going off from lap 15, and couldn't respond" that is not a fact from one of the World's best riders, that is whinging and whining, right!! Just interested in a concrete example of where Stoner was actually whining! Oh, I can think of one - he told the precious media to take a hike a couple of times, they didn't like that!!

Take the truth any way you like, sir, it is very common knowledge, not only in the paddocks, but by fans all over the world, that Stoner has issues with a lot of stuff, and whines and moans about them quite profusely.

I have a lot of Australian mates, and all of them act like tough guys, because they are for the most part, tough guys, but, Casey, cannot say that about him, just ain't even close.

He is still a great rider, though.

Dave, you are unable to provide one example of Stoner whining, that is EXACTLY my point! I have heard them all have a grumble about something or other, mostly they are right, Stoner no more or no less than others. I look past the Media for what is going on out there. Is Hayden whining, when he says the Ducati can't turn - No, he is stating a fact. Same thing back in the day - "Oh, that Japanese P.O.S. doesn't handle properly!" O.K. Lets go for a ride! "err, umm, err!!" You have to put up or shut up, Stoner always put up!!!

Rod, I don't have to, MILLIONS out there have already proven it, time and time again, over and over again, he is like the Energizer Bunny of whine and moan, proven fact.

Personally, whiner extraordinaire, rider, one of the very best.
