I thought I had one to repair the oil filled, barfing, drooling mess at the left side of my H1. :e9 Someone may post a pic from the Gap, it suddenly made sense why the more I ran it, the worse it got!
So, I have this seal kit...

Image

I can identify all the seals but don't know if the crank seal is a left or right. The seal is marked "NOK" and "AE1920F".

In with all the NOS stuff I got with the Titanic Bike deal, I had these...

The one labeled "92050-052" carries the same number as the one in the kit.
Reproduction Decals lists: Kawasaki H1 Outer Crank Seal - Left Outer H1 & KH500 1972-1976 Replaces OEM 92050-023
Parts-N-More lists: Crankshaft Seal - Left Side #01-9039 | Kawasaki H1 (1969-1975) Crankshaft Seal - Left Side, Replaces OEM#92050-051
So, is the -052 that I have the same as -023 or -051? The pic of the -051 @ P-N-M looks more like the other OEM seal I have (-041) having a smooth face. I would think the OEM seals I have are for an S crank, (all the other NOS stuff was S3/KH400) but the one is identical to a seal from an H1 kit. I have a feeling there is a typo in there on someone's part or maybe just the wrong part. The real question is, will the -052/AE1920F I have fit my H1?

The -052 you have is the RH seal, which is physically bigger than the needed LH seal. As such it will not work.

The most recent number listed for the LH crank seal at Buy Kawasaki is 92050-051. This supersedes the earlier 92050-023 number. However, the seal is listed as "canceled' and as such is NLA from Kaw.

Any Sudco dealer can issue you a replacement LH seal.

The LH crank seal is the second seal from the right, as stated....

Better to have them put to use than just sit on the shelf. Hope you get it running great soon.

No worries 'smokin! Always nice to have spare seals. If your LH seal is gone the RH may be not far behind (keep an eye on the trans oil)... ;)
