Just bought a '72 Z1 and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent owners forum such as this one.
Thanks,
Kevin

Love the Z1s!

KZRider.com is one but there may be another dedicated solely to the Z1 since it is such an icon.

I am doing a frame up restomod on my 75 Z1. The frame has been powdercoated and I have restored a few small parts and have a long way to go. Be sure to post if you find a good site. :)

What a bunch of JERKS that KZriders dump is. I could care less if I ever go there again. To hell with them. I joined, and there is no forum for sales. SO like a fool, I ASKED where to post my Z1 parts collection, in the general forum. There is a for sale this or that every 3rd or 4th post. So I looked and some of the posts on the main page are 3 years old! Here's what I posted...

Question, Where to post For Sale?
I have a lot of Z1 parts in real nice shape, and a Bunch of KZ1000 parts, where do I post them?

BOOTED!!!! Violation of rules! locked out, cant post and do not care one bit.
there must be a good site somewhere I am going to trash that site every chance I get.

Could we add a Z1 forum here PLEASE??

Of course there is but you can only see it if you are logged in. I've bought and sold many times. You probably ran afoul of an anti-spam program.

Gary you shot yourself in the foot with this one Pard.

Also - the domain/site name is Kawi2strokes.com for a reason. We tollerate ( ) the zukers, RDs and other 2-strokes here because they are our long lost little cousins

yeah I know. I just cannot believe I was booted and locked out over asking where to post. there was no prices, no list. and I was logged in, and could not find a for sale section of the forum anywhere, and I finally did today. I can read the stupid thing, but that's all. The winter has robbed me of a month of sales already, and the weather forecast is winter until April. I wanted to sell my 73 Z1 parts for a pretty low price really. I apologize for not having much more H1 or triple content, but they just don't exist around here any more. There are a few guys in the state with vast collections and really nothing else. the state is picked pretty clean, and it all left. I hang onto mine because once its gone, that's it, there just aren't any more.
we all know that the cranks need gone through on all these old motors, and that just tacks $1000 onto riding one. Hence mine are more art then motorcycle.
Good luck on the spring rides around you, I wont see 50 degrees for at least 2 weeks now.

The U.K. Z1 Owners forum is pretty good, they are well established - But you will that in general, Z1 Owners & Riders are a different breed :eh:
