Most of you know I've only had the s3 for a triple for years. I have an h2, well most of it

, and am now working on it here and there. There's plenty of similarities about it being a triple compared to mine, but little nuances learned working on these things sometimes intrigues me.
I was prepping the cases on this h2b and noticed that behind the cylinders is an oil channel similar to the s3. When I tore it apart, I just scraped the gasket and blasted it. I looked at the oil tap and the channel and notice the port was cast, to a point where you can see the engine was casts that way to machine it, but they never tapped on this case. Interesting, wonder what advantage carb bowl mixing had preferred to intake injection like the s3? Better yet, would tapping it in and using another pump be an option over bowl mixing?
