Seems this would be a great item to re-pop as most are ovaled out and junk by now....

Anybody know of a source?

Any competent sheet metal shop could make the axle part, maybe from stainless steel. Then it could easily be welded to a metric threaded rod. Add up the sheet metal part, the rod, the welding, and the polishing, they'll probably be right around $49 + shipping.

I'd be in the market for a set of those - rather get them from an 'in-house' fabricator, than e-bay, etc. Flipping them around, and using a thin washer "works". I have a few sets of ovalled ones - wonder if re-furb is an option for a small fabricator............

I've got a pair of NOS ones that I can't use. Got them in a batch of NOS parts I bought some years back and saved them as I thought they were correct for my H1D, but alas they're not. When I saw those eBay prices, I was going to put mine up (eventually  ). Make me an offer for the pair.
