I love the way you MN boys break in a new motor! :D That 3 into 1 sounds like an F1 car...great work boys.

well, "new motor" might be a stretch....

There are a lot of USED internal engine parts that were recently introduced to each other, so I guess you could call it "new" The only thing original to this engine are the cylinders and pistons/rings..and all three have (er, had  ) seizure and scoring marks, rings stuck solid, etc.

A little 500 grit and a Roloc wheel goes a long way!

She was pretty nasty. :e9

but it cleaned up well enough...

and it runs surprisingly well.....

The 3-into-1 only lets it rev to 6500, so it would be tough to kill this thing. Built in rev limiter!

Is it just the videos, or is the overall gearing like having an H2 with 9/87 sprockets?

NO!! Its just the sound of the pipe and the video. Mark and I actually think its geared a bit too tall. Seriously

The 3 into 1 eliminates ALL 2-stroke "lag". It pulls like a nasty four-stroke. INSTANT throttle response.

What also makes it so herky-jerky, is we are used to having our clutch do the shifting for us on a normal sled, and everything just feels WRONG... Up and downshifting, etc. These videos are literally the FIRST times we each took it across that field. We'll be a lot more practiced up (smoother) by the end of this weekend.

I might even enter it in the 500' drag race at the show saturday.

Love this project guys

<The 3 into 1 eliminates ALL 2-stroke "lag". It pulls like a nasty four-stroke. INSTANT throttle response.>

Do you feel the throttle respomse improves bu the 3-1? And does this exhaust make the motor more torquey, let's say, at 3-4000 rpm?
What about the surging?

I know it is kind'a hard to tell all this from just this testing, but I may concider a "rat bike" some day with a suitable 3-1 exhaust just for the wicked sound :D

I'm looking forward viewing more vids, you're already all over the world

I'm so glad you put that pipe on it, as that really does make it.

Perhaps you need an air shifter with on board compressor and both up & down buttons so you can keep your feet on the running boards and reduce some of the scare factor. Or a left twist grip change like a scooter.

It is just fabulous - and to think no one of you would have bothered unless the original Snow Job advertising majored on using an H2, and it had entered our triples world. If it had been a CB750 they had used, could you see the Honda boys getting up to this stupitidy

I take my hat off to you.

Can you imagine that thing at anything over 45 mph, Mark? Maybe get the street wheels conversion kit for it before you go to the strip. I hear they're a little safer that way.
