I'll take some pix of it tomorrow and maybe someone can shed some light on what it DOES go to.
It fits way too nicely in the frame to be some kluge. Kinda make sense too!

I used to have one of those set ups on an H2 that I bought a long time ago. I still talk to the guy who built it. I think it might be from monotrack.

I got a chance to speak with my friend who had the kit. He said it was sold by Bill Wirges. I remember it being very nice and practical. Hollow axle, Holes cross drilled and the tapered nuts had a zerk fitting in the end. Easy to relube swingarm pivot bolt.

This ain't that. No zirks on the end bolts nor cross holes in the shaft.
It still has two bronze bushings but they have a smaller bore to fit the shaft.
No steel sleeves.
I've order one of the needle bearing kits from Ralf and I'll see where I go from there.
I like the fact that the bolt expands and locks in the frame without putting a lot of compression on the swing arm.
I've started working on bits and pieces and will start this resurrection in earnest after the first of the year.

Keep us posted. Also curious how the stud extraction went. I had a member here who needed a few studs. I pulled them from an extra case I had and gave them to him. I forget who it was. I only remeber it took heat and a lot of work. Not fun at all, but I did get them out and sent off.

Ralf's bearing kit went in without a hitch. Better than new.
I've started to get with the program lately and have run across a missing piece.
Anyone know the dimensions for the drive side rear wheel spacer?
M40 OD x M20 ID x ????Thick.?
Mine seems to have misplaced itself.
Either that or its in the bottom of the bead blaster cabinet.....
Frame and the rest of the gloss black items painted.
Tapered bearings in the head stock. Forks refurbed.
New hoops, spokes, and tires.
Wheels cleaned, polished, and assembled.
A few odds and ends cleaned and plated: nuts, bolts, brackets, etc.
I should have all the satin parts finished this week.
Stud removal on the cases was a piece of cake. I got lucky!
Cases are soda blasted and clean. Studs reinstalled.
I still need to get two replacement ones that were broken.
All the bodywork is done on the tin, just need to finish the paint and decals.

A few pix of the progress so far......
