Assembling gear shafts for new engine (H1). My second gear driven cog has about a .020-.025in. rad worn on the end of the engagement widows (acceleration end in particular). The cylindrical dogs that will engage these worn windows are still reasonably sharp.

What is the max rad on the windows that is still acceptable (gears will be shimmed for max dog engagement).

J
