Have some good original parts to work with but would like to brighten them up a little. Some fading on instrument faces and normal discoloration and wear on controls and switch buttons. Who can do a really nice job on these?

Thanks, Rusty34

Look under vendors for gauge refurbishing.....

My S3 instrument panel before restoration:

The LH and RH switches were in much the same condition. Here they are after restoration. I had them powder coated in satin black and did the lettering with enamel sticks. I removed all wiring prior to powder coat then re-installed it and put new vinyl sleeve over the pigtail.

As others have said, you can have someone do the work for you. I bought new gauge face decals from Reproduction Decals and did the speedo and the tach myself. I painted the orange part of the needles to brighten them up while I was in there. Here is a picture of the gauges that I had mocked up during the build with old handle bars.

Sorry, I don't have a good picture of the handlebars on the finished bike but they look new and everything works as it should. If you like to tinker then you can do it all.

There's a similar post in the vendor section of this board from the same restorer.

Check out donfulsang on the vendors section under gauges. He restored my 75 H2 Tacho and it is immaculate and at a great price too......
