Been wanting one since they came out in 2008. I was waiting for the used prices to go down, but they don't on these things!

I was looking at the 2012's and rode one at the dealership, though it was pretty cool. The dealer wouldn't work on price (to my cheap ass liking....lol) I called the other one in town, same deal. So I call the one 40 miles away, and asked the salesman if they had any 250's, he said yes, I asked if they had any green ones, nope. BUT he personally happen to have a green 2011 that isn't being used (was for his wife) Cherry, never dropped, two brothers slip on, (wayyyy too loud) ugly plate eliminator, aftermarket LED tail light and tank protectors.
So Lorraine and I went and met them at a casino, the bike was perfect, 775 miles, oil change at 500. The funny thing, is the guys is like a younger version of me, and his wife was like a younger version of Lorraine. They were talking animals and we were cracking jokes.
We haggled a bit and I got 100.00 off.

(1,100.00 cheaper than a new one)
I'm not taking it on the track, as it's just too nice. And I saw the new 2013, they are totally redone, and FI I believe. They really look like the ZX10s now. But too much for me to validate the money. This one is pretty enough for me!
I took it up to the mountain today, and it got a lot more attention than I thought it would, the guys loved it. Hurley wants to race with him on his daughters GPz 305.....
It is a riot to ride, Moto3 RPMs all the time through town, and not breaking the speed limit!

I was tucked in going up the mountain barely holding 70 MPH, I was laughing in my helmet! And I thought my 500 with 16/60 gearing was low, this thing is at 9 grand at 72 mph.......
Light, great handling, and never touched the rear brake.......
