You can go up to the fontana if all you need is internet. Up by the cafe is a wifi point. There's Verizon phone service at the fontana, but if you want ATT you have to go to fontana dam, and that's sporatic, or Robbinsville.

I'm not sure what carrier will work for Lisa. Internet and Skype might be the best. There is a spot (at the big pull-out on the way to Robbinsville) that my Verizon cell works in.

This is true. Where I grew up the hills were so steep and long, when your ball rolled down the hill you just said "screw it"...

ATT works there too Barry. A group of about 8 of us rode there one day just to call and check in. Looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of mths.
