Maybe it is an 'O-ring' chain, without the O-rings..........

You may be right, RK may have cut corners by using the same pin size for both with/without o-rings.

Clarke tank for the 1979 IT175. It was in their "scratch and dent" for $118 bucks (and it's white not normal IT Blue). I don't see any scratches or dents and for almost 1/2 the cost of the blue one - I don't care!

My first purchase from Clarke, extremely well made. Petcock rubber gasket and new gas cap included. All the brass mount points look great and formed into the body just like OEM.

I also ordered my Chrysler 300 OEM trailer hitch and wiring harness - getting ready to tow the H2 down to Johns for the Gap this year. Was worth the bump for factory since the receiver is up underneath and is hidden when not connected.

Pretty sure I had one like that, pretty rough though, and couldn't give it away. It was yellow.

Turned out the bike is actually a 1976-77 (my title is wrong but the sn's match it), this tank won't fit but Clarke is making me a new one for the same price as the scratch and dent - great supplier!

Great collection but I was thinking, Loraine and I would put a New Age slant in there. For some reason Indian Kachina Doll sprang into my mind so I googled it - whoa = there IS! was even an episode in the series:
