Where were YOU when I was asking for help? Ive had the short line valving apart and cleaned it. It only flows in one direction. If its failed, how can I repair it. Can I use another fitting? How would a valve let air into a sealed system?

Poor seat of the ball can allow pressure from the cylinder to overcome pump pressure.

Scanning other boards and resources to add to the Resource site for those who will take the time to do a little research about their problems and learn a little about what they have.

Since you've taken me to task for my lack of proper response, let's think this through....
What is involved in getting oil to the cylinders? Oil tank, pump, lines, check valves
Tank... yip, full of oil and filter is clean
Pump... replaced with same results... so probably not two bad pumps and problem is only with the same one cylinder
Lines... look ok but seal joints with epoxy and still no joy
Maybe sucking air???... replaced line seal washers with stat-o-seals (both sides?)
Check valves.... thoroughly cleaned???? Spring tension checked for 4psi crack??? Swapped springs from one valve to another???

This brief analysis is why I'm in agreement with RB about the source of the problem being a check valve.

1, Ermmmm . . Unfortunately I have to work for a living so don't spend 24 hours a day on the board I apologise for not replying with free information less than 24 hours after you asked for it :eh:

2, It is RARE that you can take the valve apart aand successfully clean it

3, Even if it appears to be working correctly you would need to pressure test it AND leave the pressure in for a few minutes to be sure that it holds

4, A weak valve that weeps will allow air from crankcase pressure to infiltrate the line and leave air bubbles in it

5, I'll set my alarm clock to get me up in twice the middle of the night so that I can check if anyone in the U.S. needs urgent technical inforr for free

Wow, having been following this board and the previous iterations of it for 14 years - never seen anyone with this problem.

Having taken my H2 lines/pumps etc apart about a millions times in its long history - I've personally never had a problem.

Zero, understand your frustration but no need to get pissed at the people here trying to help.

If you really can't fix this then go ahead and mix, throw some packets of oil in your tail section and Bob's your uncle.

You got me all wrong. I appreciate ANY and ALL help and realize that people DO have lives to live! You have all been wonderful with so many questions since I've joined and I'd like to have a long and happy friendship here. I was kind of joking that now that I've settled my issue someone kind of throws a DIG in there about it should have been a five minute job. Next time maybe it will be...THIS time I had no idea what I was doing. I promise I wont bother anyone with questions that are not important to me. I am very sorry for upsetting anyone. That was not my intent. I've found a new line and I'll probably be good now.All of the information was GREAT and please don't hesitate to share it with me in the future.

Don't count on the "new" line being any better than the old one. The weak point in the oil system is the check valves. They are 35, or so, years old and most have set to allow old oil crud to contaminate them.

Be sure to at least disassemble and clean it and be sure the spring goes back in the right way.

By far, the best thing is to disassemble and test crack pressure as noted in link provided (all lines). There was someone who had offered to do the test/adjustment but I don't recall who.

Glad it was just a misunderstood post. When joking or kidding use an emoticon with a smiley face, or such, so everyone knows not to take the comment seriously.

You got it! I'm very new to this group. The "new" line is complete with fittings so I'm hoping that the GREMLINS will go away with the old line.

Just wondering......Will a worn operating lever shaft/seal cause air issues? I have seen oil leaking out of the system here, but not sure whether the pump would draw air into the system here. :?

Gentlemen,(Ladies?) Who tried so hard to help me.. I'm proud to report that I've installed my new lines, new seals (all) and new pump and am now totaly air bubble free OIL INJECTED!! I DID find the problem, too. The #3 oil line was loose at the junction of the plastic oil line and brass banjo. It had no sealant either. A gem of a fellow board member gave me a new line. As in FREE. And I used it instead. I dont trust mine. (te check valve does not fully seal. the seat and ball are pitted.) No more questions about how much oil to mix, etc. I promise. Thank you!! :D

Proud to hear that the problem is resolved and you didn't give up.
Think about all you have learned ;)
Pay it forward.
