Time to catch up again. I've spent a lot of time studying up, reading about this and that etc. and have acquired an even larger pile of stuff I won't bore you with
Got a set of Jim's caliper adapters and a pair of really nice calipers set up using Magic

I was hanging out with a good friend over the holidays helping him re-restore his RC30. He bought it at the same time I picked up my current H1 twenty plus years ago. He wore the Honda out already

He was upgrading the front brake system and while we were talking I mentioned I was looking for a remote reservoir master for the triple. He opened his toolbox and handed me the RC30 master...wouldn't take anything for it. Just told me to use it in anger proudly.

The RC has a storied race history and I'm proud to use it. The only Honda using the correct brake lever and a mechanical clutch is the CBR900RR so I picked up a perch and a set of matching levers. Also the CBR900RR kickstand because it was cheap, it may work and came with a free aluminum block. Also a rear brake cable in black....seems the cable will be easier to work with than an arm when fabbing rearsets.

He also found/returned my timing plank I made for my Honda 50 years ago

After much looking I opted for the WoodCraft three piece clip ons. I would suggest you add these to your short list if you ever need a set. The three piece is nice because you don't have to pull the tubes to remove them, they are super well made and made in the good old USA.

My new Sun rims should be here in a couple weeks so I got a KH500 front hub and the KH400 rear hub looking spiffy and new sealed bearings installed

The swingarm is set up and the rake is adjusted.....here's how the critical mass sits today

Going to add a hoop under the tail and tack some thin sheetmetal on there. I am using the tiniest battery I can get away with. I want to put the battery and oil tank under the bubble butt to hide them completely. I will "open" up the vertical area of the tail and the seat pad will just cover the opening. I am going to design (successfully I hope) a sort of horseshoe shaped oil tank and use the tank itself to hold the battery....the tank bung will be just inside the opening. That's how I vision it anyway. Found a good spot to mount/hide the coils and iggy boxes. So many little things to think through
Picked up a set of Jim's carbon cans for the WTF's.....next update should be pics of how that turns out. my FZR 400 rear axle is bent........and NLA. Yamaha part# 3FH-25381-00-00 I need a 16mm rear axle at least 12.5" long, preferably a thru drilled part....if its longer I can cut it and reweld the head back on. If you know of a bike using one I could try that one.....will be cheaper than having one made so if you know of one give me a shout.

Oh......got my fairing pre mounted as well
