Nice buy, I have a '07 1000 Vee that I bought new and I love the bike. I got it rigged for open road and riding out to vintage days or down to SC is just a nice days ride. You will love your wee.

congrats!!

I've had my old F100 for 30 years this year, in need of a 4th carburator (this one i kinda built from parts of three older ones I kept and a rebuild kit). But went to help someone move Saturday and won't idle, pissing gas yada yada yada. I've been putting off buying a rebuilt one since I don't drive it much but it's a goner.

Called many auto suppliers and nobody carries carbs anymore! This is a simple, 2bbl for a simple 302 automatic trans engine. A few said they could order one for me. Ended up getting a Holly on the internet for $192.65:

Sounds like you got a good deal on the new one. It's weird that you go through so many carburetors. The one on my '73 van is the original, never rebuilt.
