Here's some pics of my project. thought I'd throw some up so everyone that's been helping me out can see what they are trouble shooting!
The engine is a '72 H2. Stock bores. Crank was rebuilt this summer. Jetting is stock (need bigger mains though). Exhaust is modified Fast By Gast chambers.
The frame is a '94 Suzuki Katana 600. Original engine was toast. This frame has worked well since the engine is cradled by a removable sub-frame. That makes it really easy to work the Kawi engine into it.
Chain is a 520 unit with a 10mm offset drive sprocket from Fast from the Past. I should have gotten an 18mm offset, but the side-cover of the engine wouldn't handle it. The chain seems to flex enough that it isn't a major problem, but I'm sure that sprocket won't last long. The rear sprocket is a custom unit by me. I couldn't find a 520 katana sprocket, so I just took the 530 one and started grinding it thinner. Oddly enough, it works!
Clip-ons are stock for the katana, just moved them under the triple clamp. Cables are all stock H2, just cut shorter and new ends soldered on. Oil tank is one that is purchased from USPlastics.com. I installed a 'low oil light' switch that is tied to the 'high-beam' light in the headlight bucket. Custom wiring harness with Weatherpack connectors throughout.
