Just read over at KTOG that Steve Hartwell passed yesterday unexpectedly. I was just corresponding with him Thursday. No other details known at this time. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Wow, that's a shock. I'm very sorry to hear this, but thank you Evans.

:( :( :(

I was shocked to hear about this earlier this morning. I saw the same message on FB and thought it was Steve's father, not Steve.

RIP my friend. I'm going to miss talking with you at Mid-Ohio.

I was shocked when I heard the news. Steve was a super good person and will be missed terribly I just talked to him Monday. Here's a pic I took at RB's last bday bash.

Very sad to hear this. Steve's sense of humour and Triples cheer travelled all around the World. I'll be getting out some old Calendars and brightening up my workshop. Thanks, Steve, always remembered.

Hello, I am steves daughter Caeleigh. I am very sorry to all of his friends and aqauintances that loved my father for his humor and ambiesque. I found him friday evening outside on the back porch slouched over, from the appearance of the house and his articles of clothing he considerably woke unable to breath or struggling with some type of over heating. Coroners did corroborate that this is a common symptom of heart failure. I should have been home by 430 but my son said he needed my help for homework and I chose to go to my mothers house. The children my husband and I all live here together. with my father. After being home close to a half hour my husband remarked that he hadn't heard a peep from dad and he must not be home. Anyone truly close to him knows that he doesn't really leave the house often, and that he also doesn't currently drive his vehicle. So i walked downstairs and didnt see him anywhere still and opened the back door to him with no shirt ice cold blue in the face hair matted he'd been dead hours. I was mortified and thankful that my children weren't home for the experience as they spend the weekend with my mother. This really sucks for all of us. Honestly it freakin does. Feel free to email me caechat1188@gmail.com or call 6072670680 if you would still like to purchase and receive the mugs, calendars and perhaps whatever else i dig up in his temple of hidden chambers. Please be patient, and please do not spread false information. My father is a very loved man and not one single Otsego county sheriff was produced they were all NYS police, 12 in total and all know my brother Travis as the asset protection manager at the Oneonta Walmart. Please. Please. Please. Holler for those dollers or let us grieve in peace. I match respect and was taught to double disrespect.

Thanks to all who loved my dad he was never alone. Gone but never forgotten. He loved his kawasaki triples boyyyyyy
