Hello,

I have a 1973 H1-D. What is the Kawa part part number for the rotor puller? Is it 57001-258?

Is there someone selling one aftermarket puller for this H1-D?

Looks like the H1 rotor varied as time went on... First I sure would like to know the Kawa part# for puller tool (thought maybe in service manual but did not see it). And, if someone sells a quality aftermarket one since NLA from Kawasaki

Thanks

I've always used a 1-1/4" long piece of 1/4" steel rod and a rear shock bolt. Jessbikes used to sell a "real" puller so you might check there.

I think Jessbikes still sells them. One thing when tightening, give the tool a few taps with a metal hammer.

Yes, I made such a tool and it worked. 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 inch long for this rotor is best I think so it is protrude out of crank a tadd. I used soft metal for that 1/4" piece. Made sure ends were square and chambered as to not ruin threads in crank when apply pressure via bolt . Worked well. Thanks

Good, I'm glad it worked. I may have remembered the length wrong, since it's been more than 15 minutes since I did it myself. :)
