Really nice, what's the inside like? What transmission? I put a few thousand miles on an early Bluebird motor home, and it was a great experience. Unfortunately that one's gasoline powered, so we got 7 mpg if I ran 55.

@jim, heres a pic of the interior. hard to believe the conversion was done in early 70's. Purchased from orig owner's daughter after his passing.. He was a diesel mech. in the army during ww2 followed patton through europe. and came home and started the local school bus transport till they went public in early 70's. This was his baby. always garaged.. Best part is they leased me the shop to boot.. Now its full of triples and parts..And of course the kenworth.. Found this while garage selling this summer.:)

Again, very nice. The construction is amazingly similar to the Blue Bird's interior. Lots of real wood, home type counters and plumbing, etc.. I know you'll enjoy that one.

Very nice kawbulman! That is classic and will be alot of fun for sure. :)

Jim- Blue Bird Company is located 15 miles from me in Fort Valley, GA (Peach County). They still sell lots of school buses all over the USA! They also make the Wander Lodge (tour bus/ motor home/ biiig money) but I don't see as many of them probably due to the economy.

That's what I have here, but it's a '71, before they started getting nuts.
