LOL, one doesn't have to give away any pertinent information to FB if they want to to join.

On the other hand, no one has to want to join.

You don't have to give away info to FB, they will mine what you post as well as monitor/ provide it to various 3rd parties. Not paranoid, just a realist.

If one likes FB, great! Post and enjoy! :D

What can be done on FB that can't be done right here ?

Except keep me and a few others I know from being able to, for one, see the DG pictures because our work does not allow us to use certain forms of social media.

A million things Ric. there are a bunch of triple guys there and we keep in touch almost on a daily basis. Plus it's like all boards put in one place. I'm on a bunch helping guys out and learning new stuff. There will always be a place for specific boards, but social media is just a lot easier and seems to be taking over.

Totally wrong, I can see who is on FB, and if I want to PM, I can do it anytime. I get instant notification to posts on a bunch of pages. We talk about everyday stuff and many things that are not triple related at all. We can talk or even video talk on FB, even conference calls. Plus we can go to many pages from one place.

I didn't mean to start a big FB discussion! I'm not a huge fan of FB, it's just too dang convenient. I can get instant updates on everything from pictures of the grandkids to local restaurant specials, to Triples, to specifics like RB's Birthday bash, etc. all in one place. I even found a Ford 351 Cleveland group that I follow. All that and I don't have to check a million message boards. But, I understand. Not trying to promote it, just sayin'.
