The crank on this bike has slotted rods. It was rebuilt before I bought it, around 2012. I have pictures of the rebuilt motor and called the builder to confirm before I bought the bike.

The rods are slotted but apparently the inner crank seals are shot because they won't pass the pressure test. If I plug all three cylinders the crankcase will hold 6 psi. Individually, no each cylinder will not hold 6 psi.

So, Charlie I guess I can hookup the oil pump now, but then maybe I should put that freshly rebuilt crank in this engine.

Does it have a lab seals? they do leak and you have to do all 3 at a time.

Well, the intake tract or the carb bowl, depending on the year. I was thinking the same thing, but don't have any experience in this area.

Would my '74 H2 have this?

A '74 should have three lines to the three float bowls and a single line that splits into three that go to the block banjos and on to the crank bearings. Also a 4-output oil pump. Earlier H2s have a 3-output pump and three separate lines to the three block banjos, and then the oil splits to the three intake runners and the three crank passages.

Moo: The crank has rubber seals.

Jim: I recently installed TM34 carbs on it. I think I'd rather adapt the bike to the three-line pump instead of running the H2B/C pump and lines. Another project...

It's probably easier to put fittings on the bowls, but you can modify the cylinders to go to the 3-output pump.
