So I checked for spark for the first time. Got a decent spark on the outer cylinders, but nothing on the center. Started down at the pickups, all three had similar resistance. Swapped wires around, the problem did not follow, finally found the center coil was not grounding through the new paint, now all good.

Love those easy fixes, even if it takes an hour or three to diagnose.

I know it, I was crapping myself thinking one of the CDI boxes was dead.

Got the expansion chamber header flanges done. I CNC turned and then milled them. The 1.75" tube slips inside and floats, the upper bolt will let the header float some. Seals on high temp square packing rope. My KDX200 has similar, but uses O rings, which I could also use, but the silicone is close to melting possibly.

I have had a tough time finding an H2B/C chain guard, so I made one out of a plastic shape I found. Will either get a mould off it and make a carbon one, or use as is until I find one that is affordable.
I have never liked the stock rubber intake manifold on the triples, center tube is far shorter than the outer two sides, and i'm a believer in equal length resonant intakes, so I drew one in Autocad and am printing it on the 3D printer. Plus the intake I have I think is for an H1B, not an H2, and I don't have the canister assembly either. It uses equal length silicone hose bends inserted into it. I'll post pics when its printed, 34 hour print job for half right now.

Parked cars at my shop (it's right next to the Indy 500 track) and then got some work done in the afternoon. Got the first head pipe tacked and fit, length correct. I could have used a larger radius bend but then it gets close to the front fender. Trying to tuck them up tight, also rubber mounted.

If you're close to the front fender with the head pipe, double-check the gap under full fork compression..it gets even closer.

Those spigots looks great!!

Yes, I'm trying to keep them close to the motor, I have dropped the fork tubes through the triple clamps by 1.375" with the clip ons above the top triple, rake down around 25 degrees at that.

I couldn't find a repro correct horn so I bought a used, rough shape one for $25. Even being marked OK, it did not work, but a multimeter across the terminals showed it had resistance. I drilled out the rivets and pulled it apart. It had water in it at some time and was corroded etc, but not terrible. I bead blasted it all and painted it. The chrome ring needed to be rechromed, but I painted it silver for now. Somehow remembered how it all went back together after cleaning the contact points out, and used screws to reassemble it. After some adjustments to the screw on the back, wow is it loud!
My questions; is the mount correct? I had read that it should be mounted upwards instead of hanging down, and for sure it does block the airflow to the center head a lot, but it will not fit in the upwards position. Also, should the mount have sideways offset?
