Sounds like something the Japanese govt would mandate... I thought about using it for a sidestand warning light, but I'll just put the rubber plug in it. This bike is a LOT of work so far. Got the cylinders finished and bolted back on. I raised the transfers to 70.9 mm, kept the angles similar. Got the rear brake stay and rod finally and working, got a new set of tank mounting rubber, rebuilding the carbs, I found one with an odd needle jet, a 159 Q6, have to replace that, got the motor mounted and tight, I couldn't bear to use the spring washers like they have, gouges up everything, so I used nylock nuts. Removed the clutch cover to helicoil a stripped case thread and polish it, looks like it has new clutch fiber plates. I used one of the bronze clutch actuators, hope it has enough travel to clear the clutch. With an all new cable, lever and actuator, the clutch pull feels like crap honestly, my Yamaha XV750 clutch is so nice, even my KZ1100 one is nicer. Oh well, part of the triple experience I guess. I have the final sizes for the expansion chambers so have to start buying the stainless sheet and header tube for all that, hose more money at this bike LOL....
