I have been spray copper coating my aluminum crush washers for a couple of years now and they simply don't leak, just another way to skin a cat

the stock pump uses a heavy mix ratio like 24:1 so buy oil that is made for it. dino tc3 is perfect really. the fancy premix oils are too much at that pump ratio and will load up, foul plugs, etc. myself, I much prefer premix only and ditch the pump. no leaks, and if motor is running its lubing. I flog my motor and its still going strong after 10 years and 5k hard miles. Engines die for lots of reasons so dont assume magic oil will save you!

Mine's dead stock John, and averages about 50:1. I'm sure it's at least 24:1 when fully open, but less than 50:1 when cruising.

That sounds right. I wouldn't be surprised if a steady 60 mph on my H2 gives somewhat less oil than 50:1.

That's a good testament coming from you Mark. I'm not married to Yamalube but it's a known oil for me having used it forever.

I looked up local Autozone cost here - about $7 with tax. I can get a gallon of Yama2S off the internet for just a bit more than that.

BUT ---- I might try the Castrol anyway just for grins.
