HA! My Harley is 15 years old, is ridden and flogged regularly and has never leaked a drop. :e13

I almost hate to participate in a discussion such as this one due to the fact that there's No correct answer.
My 2 cents would be Motul 710 for injection and 800 for pre mix.
It works great, smells even greater and I would recommend it to anyone. Read the reviews, study the msds sheet and decide for yourself.
Cheers

A short story of my very short time on my H2 and injection oil;

I decide cheap Wal-mart oil is fine, and I still believe that, so I run it and it smokes and all is well no problems.
Then I decide to run Yama-lube thinking it may be better and the little extra $$ is no big deal.
I put it in the bike...
And then it hardly smokes at all, SO then I am worried that it is not getting enough oil
And the Yama-lube did find it way to leak through the banjo bolts a bit and at the tank at the fitting for the tube to the oil pump. Not a bad leak just a bit of a weep, The Wal mart oil didn't do that.

I filled the tank last time with the Wal mart oil and it is now smoky and leak free again.....
Draw your own conclusions with that story :D

I use these and I find them remarkable. Bone dry with light torque on banjo bold. Re-useable too and no, I'm not selling these, just sharing what works for me.

They look like standard Parker Stat-O-Seals, available from industrial suppliers like McMaster-Carr. Be sure to get the Viton type. The 6mm ones work great on the output banjos but not the large brass inlet banjo. Tom V. says a 1/4" Viton Stat-O-Seal works there, but I have not tried it myself.

I am using using the stat-o-seals but I just have the bolts just hand tight, very lightly seated and safety wired. I was so scared to strip them  and Im to lazy to redo them just yet for the amount of oil that was weeping.
I was just surprised to see it and the fact that it would weep just so slightly where my oil line meets the nipple at the tank, just wet to the touch.
I thought it was interesting to note the difference.
It makes me think the Yamalube might be good stuff and probably works it way into the bearings well.

1/4" works for all four.

Good to know, thanks Dale. I have some 6mm ones I bought for the purpose, but I never got any of the 1/4" ones. I'll have to stick 10 of them on my next McM order.

I read a few years ago that the first synthetics didn't use seal swell.
A product that is normally put in oil to help seals do the job.
I'm not sure if this is true or not.

stat o seals are the ticket.

as far as oil goes, a few yrs ago I was getting some type-f tranny oil for my falcon, and had to go to the back of the local advance auto. I saw a case of dusty 2-stroke snowmobile oil. I live in south Carolina.... so I asked, why the heck do you guys have snowmobile oil? they told me it was a stocking item and had to carry it at all stores. curious, I bought a quart (at 10% over cost). it is hands down the best mixing oil I have ever used. I have premix and injection bikes, and its all ive run for 3 years in everything. it runs a LOT better than the other oils I have used, and actually mixes with the 927 I put in for 'that smell' on the rd which is premix. Love the stuff. so I get a case every year, or more, and they are happy to move otherwise dead stock. try a quart. its awesome.

aside from that ive had good luck with Honda GN2 and other big brands. never was a huge yamalube fan but its ok.
